Primary Responsibilities:
Work with our business units and end users to lead the technology team and analyze the current technology setup, listening to goals and challenges to help achieve desired outcomes
Develop preliminary system design drawings, construction documents, equipment specifications and cost proposals
Design/Build – manage the design engagement for AV/IT/Security
Work closely with our design engineers for each discipline
Review sales proposals; send approved proposal to the client
Maintain regular communication with Client, Local GM, and Business Development.
Work with Project Team to verify system functionality
Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies
Provide sales and technical staff with technical support on both a pre and post sales basis
Ability to create architectural plans and modify architects’ drawings to incorporate into systems.
Qualifications:
Four-year bachelor’s degree preferred.
Good understanding of space planning and technology use cases and collaboration
Experience working as a consultant or architect preferred
Minimum 5 years working experience in low voltage field required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
Superior customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work with diverse groups
Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills
Be a self-starter, internally motivated to succeed, and able to effectively manage one’s own daily activities
