Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing audio-visual systems, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating seamless, high-quality AV experiences
Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in AV system design and integration, preferably with a focus on corporate, educational, or large-scale installations
Strong knowledge of AV equipment, including projectors, displays, audio systems, and control systems
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Visio, or similar tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, specifying, and managing AV systems from concept through to completion
Design & Development:
Develop detailed AV system designs and technical specifications based on client requirements and project goals
Create and review system diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings
Ensure designs are in line with industry standards, best practices, and client needs
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements to inform design decisions
Select and specify appropriate AV equipment and technologies
Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, including installation and troubleshooting
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful project completion
Coordinate with installation teams and other contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design reports, equipment lists, and user manuals
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to clients and internal teams
